Founded in 1982, u3a is a collection of locally-run interest groups that provide a wide range of opportunities for people to come together to learn for fun and enjoy exploring new ideas, skills and activities together. There are around 1000s of u3as in the UK with over 430,000 members. Within Oban and the surrounding area, there are over 200 members in our local u3a.
