There is a small annual fee to join which covers membership of the overseeing body, The Third Age Trust (TAT), and some room hire costs. You can also opt in to receive the TAT magazine, u3a Matters. Some activity groups may also set their own additional fees to cover expenses such as room hire, equipment etc. Individual group convenors can advise you on this before joining.
